I think that many women in my line of work myself included seem to feel a need to put a label on who we are , and what we do.Provider/escort/courtesan/luxury companion/geisha/muse.These words seem to pop up on a regular basis on various adds and sites . In some cases I have seen some of these labels used as a way for some women to feel superior to others.I honestly hate this ,and feel that like beauty, class, and elegance are in the eye of the beholder ,and an elitist attitude is about as far from true class as it gets. .Fortunately for the most part I believe that most of us decide to use a particular label not to feel superior , but because we truly identify with that idea, or image.
So I have decided I need a label .I will start off with my least favorite one ....provider.I have no idea who created the word provider, but I really do find it to be way too bland , and lacking in any passion. I do not think this word does any woman justice as we all come with our own unique warmth.Courtesan is a cool word , but in my case I am afraid I live in 2009 not 1609.Of course there is such a thing as a modern day courtesan unfortunately that job does require a certain level of sophistication which so far to this day has eluded me,so as cool as the word may be its just not for me.Luxury companion sounds well very luxurious ,tragically no one informed me that you need to have a last name to appear luxury companionish. I must have been taking a nap when the memo was sent, so I will remain a simple companion until I figure out what should come after Becky. Now as far as the word muse goes I think that being a muse to another person would truly be an honor. I do not think I am there quite yet , but I do feel that it is something to aspire to.
I have to admit geisha is my favorite .I find Japanese culture to be very beautiful. I love the look, and feel of their homes, and gardens , and geisha's in particular just fascinate me.I have been told by some of the gentlemen I have met that spending time with me was like being with a geisha.I take this to be a huge compliment.Of course I would never compare myself to a true geisha maybe a modern geisha in training might be more accurate.
OK I now have my label I am a tall blond modern day geisha in training . I just hope that geisha's do not need to have last names lol.
